Coral Harbour Base, 27 NOV 2016 (RBDF) – Members of the Press are invited to attend the Royal Bahamas Defence Force’s Award of Decorations Ceremony which will be held on December 1st 2016 at 10:00 a.m, on the Lower Grounds of Government House.
Her Excellency, Dame Marguerite Pindling, honoured principal of the event, will present various Award of Decorations to 129 members of the force who would have dedicated their lives to service in the ranks and files of the country’s only military entity for eighteen (18) years, twenty-five (25) years and thirty (30) years.
Additionally, she will officially induct new members of the Officer Corp and award to them their instruments of authority in the form of their commissions.
We look forward to having a representative from your organization to help us archive this important milestone. Defence Force members will be seated by 09:30 am on that day.
