Providenciales, TCI, November 29, 2016 -If you went to the Elections Office today seeking to be registered for the 2016 General Elections next month because of what we reported this morning, we sincerely apologize for the inadvertent error in dates.
Our report earlier said new voters could register today for that December 15 run off, but the registration deadline of November 30, which is this coming Wednesday is actually for the new 2017 Elector’s List.
We are sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused. The voter register for the upcoming race which has 52 nominees offering for the 10 districts and five at large seats is closed.
Just over 7,700 voters are on that current voter register.
