Providenciales, TCI, October 7, 2016 – “I have been in communication with the Bahamian Government concerning the passage of Hurricane Matthew through the islands of the Bahamas, and I have pledged our support to the people of the Bahamas as well as to Haiti. In this regard, we will be working in collaboration with the Caribbean Disaster Emergency Management Agency (CDEMA) in their response and recovery efforts. I would also encourage our residents to lend their support in whatever way possible, as we now look to aid our neighbors in the Bahamas and Haiti.”
