Providenciales, TCI, October 14, 2016 – Dr. John Freeman; that name will become quite popular for at least the next two years, which is the usual tenure for a Turks and Caicos Islands Governor. Freeman, will officially be made His Excellency Dr. John Freeman in a ceremony at Parliament on Monday. The new governor will be sworn in and succeeds Peter Beckingham who left the country on Monday.
