Providenciales, TCI, June 29, 2016 – The Minister of Finance has been authorized by Cabinet to begin negotiations with the Caribbean Development Bank ahead of the upcoming CDB Loan for the TCI. The government will need money from the Development Fund to finance technical assistance studies to flesh out three infrastructural improvement ideas; named were a solid waste management plan, a sea defences design for Grand Turk and a transport master plan. The TCI had qualified for up $100 million dollars from the CDB.
