House of Assembly on Bribery Bill

Providenciales, TCI, October 26, 2016 – Parliament on a strong push to see bills make it to law as the country winds down and literally has only weeks left before the Premier reveals a General Election date.

In the meantime, there is much work to be done and among the agenda items slated for debate this week in the House which convened yesterday in the capital are the Bribery Bill, Tobacco Control Amendment bill, Retiring Allowances Increase Bill, National Security Council Bill and the Hotel Service Charge Hotel & Restaurant Amendment Bill, which is a private members motion which has been vigorously pushed by appointed member, Clarence Selver and supported by the PDM as it moves through the House of Assembly.
