Nassau, Bahamas, October 17, 2016 – Weather watching again as a bout of bad weather on Sunday brought severe flooding to parts of Nassau, Bahamas in the west as the country tries to recover from surge waters which came in during Hurricane Matthew in the east of the island.
Cars and trucks were submerged by the flooding from rainfall. Amazingly, the weather we are experiencing – thunder and lightning, rain and more brisk winds here in the Turks and Caicos are from now Category one Hurricane Nicole and from a new system developing right within our waters.

The National Hurricane Center put the large area of showers at a 40% chance to develop into a stronger storm within the next five days
