Defence Force Mobile Containers transported to Andros

Nassau, Bahamas, October 10, 2016 – RBDF Photo one shows: Captain Tellis Bethel, Commander Defence Force (Acting) and Lieutenant Alexis Brown, Executive Officer of HMBS Lawrence Major looking on as one of the Defence Force’s 17-piece containerized mobile bases is being loaded onto HMBS Lawrence Major on Monday past.  These containers were taken to Morgan’s Bluff to assist the community of North Andros after the passing of Hurricane Matthew.

RBDF Photo two shows: A forklift operator helping to assist with the loading of a containerized mobile base onto HMBS Lawrence Major on Monday past. The forklift, belonging to Tropical Shipping, along with its driver, also went on the Defence Force vessel to help with the offloading of cargos in Morgan’s Bluff Andros.
