Providenciales, TCI, July 29, 2016 – Police will get faster boats and new staff. The Radar team will likely be grafted into the Royal Turks and Caicos Police Force and be under the direction of the Commissioner. The recommendation, which is to go to the Cabinet is another pertinent stride following the meeting this week Tuesday of the National Security Council or NSC.
The NSC notes to media said, “…to ensure as effective a detection unit as possible, members of the existing team should be transferred to become members of the Police staff under the direction of the Commissioner once the appropriate administrative steps have been taken.”
