Providenciales, TCI, September 1, 2016 – The Dominican Community is happy at the news of this arrest by the Royal Turks and Caicos Police says Assistant Consular for the DR in TCI, Edwin Hernandez.

There is also cautious optimism because if the man held is formely arraigned for the cruel killings, he will still have to be proven guilty in a court of law.

In the 2013 trial for the murder of Damaris Martinez, 33 and the 2009 murder and eventual trial of Ramona Sanchez, 26 both of the DR saw ‘sure’ suspects go free.

Dominicans are hoping that the evidence this time around is impenetrable.
