Five homes destroyed in massive Blue Hills Fire

Providenciales, TCI, September 17, 2016 – Around 7pm last night 911 reported that there was a fire in Snake Hill, Blue Hills.  The fire which started in a wooden structure soon engulfed 4 additional homes leaving five (5) families consisting of 20 persons homeless.  The Department of Social Development will be leading on this response with support from Red Cross, ADRA and DDME.

The team will be meeting with the fire victims at 12pm at the DDME office following which assistance may be requested from various groups and organizations to help these victims life to return to some normalcy.

DDME is requesting clothing for men, women and children, food and financial support following the fire in Snake Hill last night.
