NORTH CAICOS, July 20, 2016 – The  Governing Progressive National party has determined that it wants Mark Fulford to run as standard bearer for the North and Middle Caicos seat as a run-off did not give him the requisite majority on voting day last week Tuesday.

Fulford had won at all three polling places and was ratified by his parties NEC and NGC in meetings since Monday.

Still outstanding for the PNP, the South Caicos district; there will be another vote on Saturday, Magnetic Media is told, where members will decided between Alvin Parker and Ruth Blackman.

The first past the post system will be employed, which means, the potential candidate with the most votes, wins the party’s approval to contest in South Caicos.
