Providenciales, 01 Feb 2016 – All hail the Amanyara security officer who was able to hold five ‘illegals’ until authorities arrived at the luxury resort located in Northwest Point, Provo.
A 15-18 foot speed boat was found, submerged and abandoned on the rocky shore.
The five were being processed at last report; Police say they are not sure if there were more on the vessel, but there was a search. It is also unclear why and if the coastal radar did not detect the speed boat.
The Amanyara security officer called Police to the scene around 7:46am on Saturday.
