Providenciales, 18 Jan 2016 – Cabinet during its meeting last week agreed to abolish the cost for obtaining a National Status Card or TCI Status Card for first time applicants. Now, payment will only be expected when there are replacements for stolen or lost status cards. The status Cards became the main identifier of indigenous people in the territory just before the 2012 General Elections.
