Providenciales, 05 Nov 2015 – The TCI Sun newspaper reported on the weekend about a complaint by local security firms which disputes, they say, how former Police Commissioner, Colin Farquhar came to become CEO of Spence Security.

The consortium has filed a complaint, alleging that Farquhar not only obtained sensitive and advantageous security information while serving with the Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police but that the ex-top cop should wait at least two years before obtaining new employment in the territory.

The group calls the move unfair, because Farquhar is a former police commissioner and is reportedly now targeting their Grace Bay clients.

As many as seven security firms are lobbying against the move by Spence Security, according to that front page article in the Sun.
