South Caicos airport reopens, Fire truck fixed

Providenciales, 29 Oct 2015 – The South Caicos airport is back open now after being closed for two days due to a broken down fire truck; it is against civil aviation standards to operate the airport without a fire truck.

Passengers were turned away from their scheduled trips into the country’s fishing capital due to the lack of the equipment on the aerodrome.

It is just another in a string of challenges plaguing airline travel in South Caicos.

We await comment from the TCIAA.
