Pastors talk tough on more direct dealing with social woes

Providenciales, 14 Aug 2015 – The gun seizures and the end to gun violence campaign both follow strong words from Pastors of the Providenciales Ministerial Fellowship which on Monday called on government leaders to end the fancy speeches and get into the trenches to deal with vexing social issues.

The Fellowship is waiting for a date to meet with the PNP Administration to formalize a policy to protect what they call the sanctity of Sundays.

So far, their stances against two secular events on that day have reaped fruitful results. A Haitian Flag Day event and We Carnival parade were both aborted due to the call of the pastors to not hold them on Sundays.
