Providenciales, 10 Aug 2015 – A second shipment of the one million dollars in furniture for government schools across the nation should have arrived on the weekend; that includes the under construction Long Bay High school.
Minister of Education, Deputy Premier, Akierra Misick shared during that post cabinet press conference last week that there has been a significant investment in new furniture for the fifteen schools and that the furniture has already been installed at some institutions.
The list includes: desks, chairs, whiteboards, basic equipment, book cases and shelves and the furniture will be embraced, no doubt, by students, parents, teachers and activist groups who last year took to social media to blast government over busted furniture.
