Providenciales, 13 Aug 2015 – The 911 programme currently does not have a national network link, but it is hoped that with a new budget allocation of $140,000 all of the islands will be connected by the emergency calling service.

Among the advocates requesting funding was Deputy Police Commissioner, Rodney Adams who said this is phase two which will also include a continuation of the upgrade to street signs. Some of the money will go to pay for labour to improve the system.

This desire for $140,000 was a completely new request and will likely be a part of the PNP Administration’s Budget Supplementary.
