Providenciales, 04 Mar 2015 – One will commemorate one year since Robert Been Sr was shot and killed in the parking lot of his Turquoise Point Plaza. A year later and there has been no updates on the case which has even caused the Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police to bring in outside officers in an attempt to solve the mystery of who was driving that white van and who are the said two assailants who ambushed Been in the Gracebay area on that fateful night. The Moment of Silence, as the family is calling it, will be held at the plaza from 7:30-8pm.

The second prayer event is for Five Cays and Chalk Sound Member of Parliament, Sean Astwood who is still hospitalized in Nassau at Doctors Hospital. It is believed Astwood, who is in his 40s, suffered a stroke; he was taken from Provo by air ambulance on Saturday past in extreme pain we understand. Constituents and friends of the House of Assembly representative have organized the service at Paradise Baptist Church in Five Cays for 7pm.
