Providenciales – Named changed from Young Enterprise, to the more commonly called Junior Achievement… and the managers of the programme said they are ready to start a third year, and need corporate support. In a press release, the Chamber of Commerce said and I quote: Sponsoring a company is only $2,500.00. Your involvement will engage and inspire young persons through the sharing of your company skills. Your direct support will empower them with the confidence, ability and ambition to succeed in life.” The appeal first went out to Chamber members, but the wider business committee is encouraged to make the investment. The program launches this month as Junior Achievement or JA… volunteers are also being sought. Contact Wendy Hill at the Chamber of Commerce or Angela Musgrove at 331-4892 to find out how you can help.
