Providenciales – We are just over three weeks since TS Cristobal and in some areas flood waters remain having been replenished in rains following the storm.
Prior to that though the TCI had confirmed cases of Chikungunya and Dengue Fever; mosquito borne viruses from infected Aedes aegypti mosquitoes.
Well those infected mosquitoes are around and they are biting people! Being bitten means you too can become infected.
Not only are these diseases excruciatingly painful, but they are debilitating and hang around just ‘mashing you up’ for a week at least.
Its really bad for babies/toddlers and the elderly. Really bad.
Please do all you can to protect yourself and your dependents as there are residents reporting symptoms, these are possible new cases.
Remain vigilant!
