#Homicide#DonSaunders#Bahamas, March 28th, 2024 – Former House Deputy Speaker and former MP for Tall Pines and Vice Chairman of the FNM Don Saunders was shot dead at a local bar around 9pm in Gambier Village in Nassau Bahamas on Wednesday March 28 and TWO MASKED ARMED MEN are reportedly the killers. Bone chilling screams and wailing by loved ones were heard at the scene. Saunders, a beloved Bahamian is the Bahamas’ 35th murder for 2024 after which came another shooting in Bimini, killing an adult male, the number now 36. Additionally, with more deaths in The Bahamas, over the weekend, on Saturday March 23, there was a tragic accident where two friends Lloyd White and Avery Sherman, in separate cars, on their way to an event in Andros, collided into one another, both now dead. A passenger in one of the cars died days later from injuries. The police have not confirmed what led to the bizarre accident, a shocking and uncommon occurrence for Andros.
