#Jamaica#Tourism, March 8th, 2024 – Jamaica has been awarded the title of Global Destination of the Year for romantic and honeymoon vacations. The award, presented by the Pacific Area Travel Writers Association (PATWA) at ITB in Berlin, the world’s largest tourism trade show on March 6, 2024, was accepted by Jamaica’s Minister of Tourism , Edmund Barlette. As reported, accepting the award Bartlett said, “Jamaica is known for its food, music and indeed love so we are humbled to be recognized for these experiential offerings to our visitors that provide meaningful memories.”
