Haiti Plans for Transitional Council Progressing

#Haiti#TransitionalCouncil,March 15th – The plans to implement a Transitional Presidential Council for Haiti are reportedly on the move, as Haitian officials recently submitted to CARICOM, names of nominees for the council, as announced by CARICOM on Thursday March 14th.
Acting Press Secretary of The Bahamas Office of the Prime Minister, Keishla Adderley, in the weekly press briefing on Thursday, highlights this development.
Additionally, giving an update on the blockade in the south end of The Bahamas against Haitian migrants, Adderley says it will remain in place. The need for the blockade is emphasized by recent illegal migrants caught, as further highlighted by Adderley, who also mentioned plans to take them back to Haiti
