#Cuba#EconomicCrisis, March 06th – Cuba has been faced with food shortage as the economic crisis worsens and in response, the Cuban Government requested help from the World Food Programme (WFP), for the continued supply of subsidized powdered milk for children under seven years old. As a result, a ship carrying 375 tonnes of powdered milk from Brazil is scheduled to arrive soon, as reported by CubaDebate. The organisation said it already started delivering milk to the island.

Cuba first said in February that it was struggling with milk supply and Cuban officials also reported a shortage of wheat, forcing them to cut the supply of subsidized bread. Also, there is limited fuel and medicine.
