#TheBahamas#Dominica#Grenada#CAF, March 8th, 2024 – The Bahamas, Dominica and Grenada are joining CAF, the Development Bank of Latin America and the Caribbean. Revealed in a release by the organization, the board of directors have authorized the allotment of the bank’s shares to the three nations to aid their entry as “Series C members.” This, they say, will allow the countries to access the bank’s technical, financial and knowledge services to improve the lives of their citizens. The organization, which is committed to promoting regional integration and sustainable and inclusive development, as well as helping Caribbean Islands and Small States affected severely by climate change, is on its way to becoming the largest development bank in the region, according to the release. This development comes months after CAF announced its plans to expand its operations in the Caribbean.
