TurksandCaicosIslands, February 12, 2024 – TCI police believe a murder plot led to the latest homicide in the country, and a 55-year-old woman was arrested with two others.
Twenty-four-year-old Jockeem Missick was gunned down near the Parade Grounds in Grand Turk shortly after 12 pm on Thursday, February 8, and following the execution of two search warrants, police say the Serious Crimes Unit arrested two men, an 18-year-old and a 21-year-old, for murder.
The older woman is being questioned for a conspiracy to commit murder.
Police reported on the arrests this past Saturday, February 10.
