Domanique Missick braces for another Directions hearing in Kew shooting incident

#TurksandCaicosIslands, February 15, 2024 – He’s represented by King’s Counsel, Mr. Oliver Smith and last appeared before the Supreme Court on Thursday 23rd November 2023 on discharging firearm and ammunition allegations.

 DOMANIQUE MISSICK of Kew, North Caicos, spent pretty close to 12 months in prison before his matter could progress due to legal aid issues.  

 The offenses date back to January 12th, 2023 in Kew when one Javaughn Fulford was shot in the stomach and had to be air lifted to Providenciales at the Cheshire Hall Medical Center, reportedly for life threatening emergency surgeries.

 Police investigation led them to the arrest and charge of Dominique Missick.

 Missick entered a not guilty plea to all five charges at his Plea and Directions Hearing ( PDH) before Justice Chris Selochan on November 28, 2023.

 The case was adjourned to a further directions hearing late last month, on January 26th, 2024.

 Charges against Domanique Missick are: Possession of firearm; possession of 

Ammunition, discharging firearm, discharging ammunition and wounding with intent.
