Otis Morris speaks on fire trucks

#TurksandCaicos, January 19th, 2024 – The Ministry of Home Affairs working closely with the Chief Fire Officer to address concerns expressed by Firefighters according to Otis Morris, Minister of Home Affairs. Morris maintained that the issue will be addressed internally. “As it relates to the issue of the fire truck being out of service – I can acknowledge that we had experienced mechanical issues with the Fire Truck however it has been resolved and the truck in question is operational,” Morris told Magnetic Media Wednesday evening. 

The statement came after our news team received reports that a fighters were responding to emergencies in private vehicles due to a lack of trucks. 

We are told, least one visit has since been made to one of the firefighters headquarters by Morris.
