Law Repealed, All Accommodations in TCI to be licensed by Gov’t

#TurksAndCaicos, January 10, 2023 – All guest accommodations in the Turks and Caicos, no matter how small, must now register with the Department of Tourism Regulations, according to a notice issued Monday by TCIG. It is new, and now repealed is the previous stipulation, which only required accommodations with a minimum of 4 bedrooms to register, now a newly established Tourism Regulation and

The Licensing Ordinance 2023 requires all accommodations to register and license their premises with the DTR. No deadline for getting compliant was given in that notice, but the DTR did invite residents to call or email for more information.
