#TurksandCaicos, January 19th, 2024 – The Turks and Caicos will be represented at Junior Junkanoo in the Bahamas next week thanks to the six talented teens, Kanye Robinson, Lorenz Handfield, Jemari Fulford, Phillip Been Jr, Jamarii Parker and J-Nevo Handfield-Agenor, six of the seven players of the North Caicos Stars Junkanoo Band! The Raymond Gardiner High School students have been playing since primary school.
Cynclair Musgrove, a longtime supporter and chaperone, explained that after an excellent showing at the Raymond Gardiner Alumni weekend last year they caught the eye of Quentin Woodside aka Barabbas of the Tribe of Junkanoo World in Nassau, Bahamas. This resulted in an invitation to study under him for a week and to play at Junior Junkanoo.
