#TurksAndCaicos, January 16, 2024 – With a determination to increase backyard farming by 25 percent in five years, the government is eyeing a large plot in North Caicos to create an agricultural center, or AgroPark, for its residents.
The park will be subdivided into smaller parcels, which will then be leased to farmers to cultivate crops and raise livestock. It will also be a hub for collecting and packaging local agricultural products.
