#UnitedStates, January 8, 2023 – 171 Boeing 737 MAX 9 aircraft have been grounded by the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) after an Alaska Air aircraft door fell off in midair, forcing an emergency landing. The plane was en route to California from Oregon with 177 passengers. The FAA is urging airlines to inspect for a loose bolt in the Rudder control system as two other airplanes with similar issues have also been discovered.
