#TurksandCaicosIslands, November 7, 2023 – The Turks and Caicos has recorded another interception of Haitian migrants, this time with two minors on board. Preliminary numbers shared with Magnetic Media by Arlington Musgrove, Minister of Immigration, early Tuesday indicate the boat was intercepted in the North West Point area with 115 illegal migrants on board in total. Included were eighty-six males (86), twenty-nine (29) females, and the aforementioned two (2) minors. More than 3,000 migrants have been caught trying to enter the country in 2023. A number of them continued to return after deportation.
