#TrinidadandTobago, October 4, 2023 – Healthier Trinidadians are in the making with the launch of TTMoves, a wellness app that helps users reach their wellness goals.

The app has a built in pedometer allowing users to track their steps for a given period and in this age of smart technology, it’s documented that more steps means a more active lifestyle.

The app counts the steps of its users and resets the progress when necessary. Additionally, it tallies up the calories burned and the distance covered while providing a comprehensive review of the fitness activity.

To top it off, the TTMoves App carries a pause feature to temporarily put on hold the step counting as it keeps the users goal intact.

Details of the app have been revealed by the Trinidad and Tobago Ministry of Health in a media release.

Terrance Deyalsingh, Minister of Health, launched the app at the Ministry’s Wellness Walk and Run on Saturday September 30 at the Queen’s Park Savannah.

The Minister informed that the app will support its goal to decrease the incidence of Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) like cancer, cardiovascular diseases and diabetes.

TTMoves is currently available on the Android platform and will be out on IOS soon, the Ministry said.
