GT Magistrate hears fighting, child neglect, property damage, burglaries, and South Caicos cases

#TurksandCaicosIslands, October 9, 2023 – Her Honour The Resident Magistrate for Grand Turk Ms. Keri-Ann Kemble will hear the following Grand Turk and South Caicos matters this week of Monday September 25th to Friday September 29th 2023.

On Monday September 25, there was a part-hearing for malicious damage to property and assault on a police officer, this trial includes accused: NEILSON Q. FORBES and FRITZ ALCIUS, who has two separate matters pending.  Those matters are, Assault Occasioning Actual Bodily Harm(AOABH) and ‘causing a child to be in need of care and protection.’

The latter was listed for September 26, 2023 and Alcius is represented by defence attorney, Noel Skippings.

Additionally, two accused SHAQUANT ROBINSON & EMMANUEL LEGER have an on-going partly-heard trial for offences of: offensive weapon and throwing missiles.

There are also three South Caicos matters, new to the court docket.

GODFREY M. ARTHUR will answer to charges of Burglary With Intent and Assault Occasioning Actual Bodily Harm.

CORDELL SEYMOUR is charged with Indecent Language and Abusive Language, while DAVID CLYDE WILLIAMS is charged with burglary.

Last Wednesday, September 27, DAMARION PALMER and ART PARKER were before the court listed on six pending criminal offenses including Burglaries and other act of dishonesty allegations.
