Flow TCI partners with TCI Ministry of Tourism to host the CTO’s Regional Tourism Youth Congress

PROVIDENCIALES, TURKS AND CAICOS, OCTOBER 10^th, 2023 – On Friday, October 13^th, twenty-two (22) Junior Ministers of Tourism from across the region will compete in the Caribbean Tourism Organisation (CTO)’s annual tourism debate competition being hosted for the first time in the Turks and Caicos as part of CTO’s State of the Tourism Industry Conference (SOTIC). 

The aim of the CTO Youth Congress is to stimulate interest in the tourism industry and tourism product amongst young people ages 14-17 from CTO member countries through research, debate and the sharing of ideas which will go on to impact the future of Caribbean tourism. 

Flow TCI Country Manager, Joanne Missick said: “Flow TCI has been the Top Sponsor for the TCI Ministry of Tourism’s Youth Congress for over 10 years as part of our Company’s commitment to investing in the potential of our youth. This year we are pleased to announce that we havepledged US$20,000 in support (cash and kind) of the CTO Regional Youth Congress as we prepare to welcome and host our region’s leaders and youth leaders.” 

The Regional Youth Congress, powered by Flow, will be streamed live from the Beaches Turks and Caicos ballroom via Flow TCI’s high-speed fiber optic network and enable conference attendees joining virtually to witness the live debate and the eventual selection of the 2023 CTO Regional Youth Congress winner.
