#TurksandCaicosIslands – January 14, 2020 – Had it not been for the TCIs rapid recovery regime when it comes to Covid-19, the islands home to around 37,000 people would have topped 200 active cases of the virus today.
Twenty-eight people are now registered as recovered according to the situational report, released just minutes ago by the TCI Ministry of Health.
There are 19 new cases and one more person in hospital.
The National Public Health Laboratory has only performed 45
new tests but 570 people are in quarantine.
Two of the new cases are in Grand Turk; the other 17 are in
Providenciales.
