Donations were awarded as follows:
Turks and Caicos Amateur Athletics Association: $20,000
Edward Gartland Youth Centre: $20,000
Food For Thought TCI: $20,000 (65 laptops)
Laptops were donated this year to Food For Thought TCI in order to
assist government school children learning from home due to the Covid-19
pandemic. These state of the art laptops will make online learning
possible.
Food for Thought was a first time recipient of a donation of 65 laptops to be distributed to government school students who require support during the COVID-19 pandemic; classes have been virtual since March
This brings the total donated by the WCGFT Committee to $341,000.
We look forward to giving even more next year and we would like to thank our
sponsors and organizers who were key in our efforts to give back to the Youth
of the TCI Community.
We look forward with great anticipation to next year’s event.
