#Nassau, The Bahamas – October 22, 2020 — The Office of the Prime Minister is aware of false reports circulating on social media that Prime Minister the Most Hon. Dr. Hubert Minnis has tested positive for COVID-19.
The Prime Minister has not tested positive for
COVID-19 and remains
in self-quarantine following exposure to the virus.
Prime
Minister Minnis continues to carry out his duties from self-quarantine and is
following all recommended health protocols.
The Prime
Minister is currently not experiencing symptoms and is being monitored closely
by the Ministry of Health’s Surveillance Unit.
Prime Minister Minnis has received four negative COVID-19 test results to date.
