TCI: Wheeland MP has a message for Constituents in face of COVID-19 crisis

#Wheeland, Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands – March 24, 2020 — My Constituents of Wheeland, North West Central and West Caicos, I address you during this critical time in the world as it relates to Covid-19.

To this end, I ask that you pay close attention to all the protocols given by the Ministry of Health in an effort to protect yourself, your family and our country at large. Please remain calm and prepare rather than panic. Take the necessary procedures to reduce the risk of contracting this virus by washing hands and use of hand sanitizer when necessary,  practice your social distancing, continue to prepare your homes and work places.

To date the Turks and Caicos Islands has one confirmed case of the Coronavirus or Covid-19 and my Government is taking steps to keep you and your families safe.

Please pay close attention to you to all media houses for continuous updates. Your safety is our first priority and we will keep a keen eye on the rest of the World as they too deal with this pandemic. Again, we will continue to update you, the public on plans and procedures relating to this virus.
