TCI Hospitals reports on three gunshot victims; one stable, one airlifted, one dead

#On March 10th 2020, three gunshot wound victims presented to the Cheshire Hall Medical Centre – Emergency Department.

A 24-year-old male arrived at 6:53 p.m. via private vehicle with a history of sustaining multiple gunshot wounds to the head and hand. The patient received immediate medical attention and underwent diagnostic imaging to determine the extent of the injuries. The patient was admitted to the general ward in stable condition and received surgical interventions.

A second 24-year-old male arrived at 6:55 p.m. via ambulance services with a history of sustaining multiple gunshot wounds to the head. The patient received immediate medical attention and underwent advanced diagnostic imaging to determine the extent of the injuries. The patient was admitted to the high dependency unit in critical condition and was later transferred to an overseas tertiary level medical facility.

A 22-year-old male then arrived at 9:40 p.m. via private vehicle with a history of sustaining a single gunshot wound to the hand. The patient received immediate medical attention and underwent diagnostic imaging to determine the extent of the injuries. The patient is currently admitted to the general ward in stable condition and received surgical interventions.

On March 11th 2020 at 11:45 a.m., another gunshot wound victim presented to the Cheshire Hall Medical Centre – Emergency Department. A 21-year-old male arrived via private vehicle with a history of sustaining multiple gunshot wounds about the upper body. The patient received immediate medical attention and underwent advanced diagnostic imaging to determine the extent of the injuries. The patient was admitted to the high dependency unit and later succumbed to his injuries. He was pronounced dead at 4:40 a.m. on March 12th 2020.
