#WorldNews – March 18, 2020 — Australian celebrity couple: Joel Edgerton and Christine Centenera, are in mandatory self-quarantine or self-isolate following their visit to Providenciales, Turks and Caicos but it is not because of COVID-19 in the islands, it is a public health protocol enforced by the Australian government.

The new rules, announced by Scott Morrison, Australian Prime Minister came into effect 12am Sunday March 15; the actor and his fashion designer girlfriend landed in Sydney on Tuesday March 17.

The Australian Government has beckoned for all of its citizens to return home, and with that return all international arrivals will be made to isolate or quarantine themselves for 14-days.

It was reported that Christine Centenera had, the day before, posted a photo of her vacation in Providenciales at the luxurious Amanyara Resort; the article also points out that the Turks and Caicos has no cases of the coronavirus, COVID-19.

Edgerton and Centenera both showed no signs of illness as they exited the Sydney International Airport.
