#TheBahamas – January 9, 2020 – The Cabinet Office wishes to advise the general public that Friday, January 10, 2020 will be observed as Majority Rule Day.
As a result, stores wishing to do so may open for business
on this holiday during normal business hours; however, employers are to note that employees who are
normally not required to work on holidays, must be paid wages in
accordance with section 10 (a) of the Employment Act.
