TCI Police Investigate shooting in Providenciales; two escape injury

#Providenciales, Turks and Caicos, July 6, 2019 — Officers of The Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force responded to a report of a shooting around 3:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 6th, 2019, in the vicinity of Church Avenue in Blue Hills.


According to 911, a male and a female were driving along the Millennium Highway in a gold Nissan Teana, when suspect(s) pulled up in a brown small car (make/model unknown) and discharged several rounds of ammunition towards them and escaped. The victims ran into nearby bushes.  There were no reports of injuries. 

A number of spent shells were recovered from the scene. The gold Nissa Teana was taken for processing.
