#Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands – October 23, 2018 – At least one parent is furious at the reported no-show of the Royal Turks and Caicos Police Force, after a call of a bomb threat was made at her child’s school – Maranatha Academy – this morning.
Teachers are right now taking a register of the students present and sending them back home after waiting nearly 2-hours for Police to show up at the school located on Millennium Highway, Providenciales.
The parent wants to remain anonymous but said, “Can you post that Maranatha had a bomb threat and the police was called several times from 7:30 a.m. and they ain’t reach yet. Our law enforcement needs to do better.”
Scores of students have been standing outside on the school grounds since the threat was made, reportedly by a male student.
At the time of this post, Police had still not turned up to inspect the grounds – as is the usual practice – at Maranatha.
