Two men arrested for gun possession, two DR women turned over to Immigration say TCI Police
#Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands – Thursday September 27, 2018 – Police are reporting arrests for firearms offenses in the areas of Dock Yard and Five Cays; one last Saturday and the other this morning.
A man was on September 22nd arrested for an illegal gun and illegal drugs, namely marijuana. The man did try to escape but police gave chase and reportedly captured the suspect who still had the marijuana in his possession. That man is remanded to Her Majesty’s Prison.
An incident this morning, rumored to have happened in Five Cays was confirmed by Police later today that indeed Five Cays was the site for an arrest of a man. 
The Tactical Unit carried out a search it is reported by Police and found at a residence was a gun and ammunition. The suspect is charged with ‘keeping’ and is in police custody.
Police also report that two Dominican women were turned over to the Immigration Department after being arrested around 4 am on Thursday at a residence in Dock Yard. The women were arrested for what the police report described as ‘immigration matters’.
