Homes, school, church burglarised in Provo, Police asking for help in catching crooks
#Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands – April 10, 2018 – On Sunday, April 8th, 2018 a 43-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of burglary in relation to two burglaries reported over the weekend. The accused is still in Police custody.
Police on Providenciales are investigating a Burglary of the TCI Middle School that was reported to the 911 Centre on Friday, April 6th, 2018. According to reports, the complainant secured the school on Wednesday, April 4th, 2018 and upon his return, he discovered the school broken into and ransacked. Missing were one Brand new Lenovo laptop valued at USD$400.00, one laptop valued USD$500, and one Digital camera valued USD$50. 
A Turtle Cove burglary was reported on Saturday, April 7th, 2018 at 8:51 a.m. The Business owner told Police he discovered his business burgled. Missing were a Honda pressure washer (red n black) valued USD$1000, a red Air tank valued at USD$50, Arc stick welder valued $USD600, a set of Screw Drivers Valued at USD$150, three 100ft power cords color yellow, orange and black valued at USD$70 each, one case of engine oil valued USD$110, one yellow vacuum cleaner valued USD$189, and four snorkel gears valued at USD$150. This incident is still under investigation.
It was reported to Police on Sunday, April 8th, 2018 that the Jericho Baptist Church was burglarized. According to the complainant, the church was secured on Saturday, April 7th, and upon arrival, she discovered that the glass of the front door was broken. Missing items included two Samsung flat screen 50-inch televisions, still sealed in box; value and colour unknown. Further investigations are to be to be carried out.
