#Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands – March 26, 2018 – Two men are on Police remand now for the shocking killing of mother of four, 30-year old Andreka Stubbs-Saintelmon.

The happy, sociable young woman who is fondly remembered by those speaking to Magnetic Media and was fatally struck, reportedly twice, with bullets said to be meant for another target.  Stubbs-Saintelmon and her husband were said to have been exiting the popular Versace Bar located on Leeward Highway last Friday morning when the shooting unfolded, sending the club patrons scurrying.

Police on Friday confirmed that the shooting occurred around 3:20 a.m. that morning and in addition to Mrs. Saintelmon being hit in the spray of gunfire, a 17-year old was also shot and hospitalised.

Today it is confirmed that two men are arrested for the manic crime which resulted in the first murder for 2018.

Police said this in a statement just before 1 p.m: “Two men were arrested over the weekend and are currently assisting Police in their investigation into the shooting incident that occurred in parking lot area of the Versace Club on the Leeward Highway Friday, March 23rd, 2018.  Both men were taken before the Supreme Court on Sunday, March 25th, 2018 and are still in Police Custody.”

Social media chatter pointed to the coming arrest of two men who reportedly admitted to the crime and expressed regret at allegedly accidentally shooting Andreka Stubbs-Saintelmon.

Police do not detail how the men were arrested, but well placed sources say one man was caught on Friday and the other on Sunday; both were said to be hiding out.
